Bowenite is a member of the Serpentine a family, which consists of 20 different varieties of crystals.  


Deposit are found in Afghanistan, China, New Zealand, South Africa and the U.S.A, with a range of colours from dark green to light olive green- yellow.


Bowenite is known as:-

Bowenite the state mineral of the US date of Rhode Island.

Pounamu "greenstone” when sourced from New Zealand.

Tangawaite.

New Jade.


Bowenite is said to be a protective crystals by providing an energy shield around a person,  enabling one to move forward in life with business, new home, or when travelling.

Tumble stones are so called because a number of stones of similar sizes are placed in a barrel which is rotated (tumbled) at a speed and after a time between 3 - 5 weeks the stones are polished from rough to smooth. 

(The Tumble stones we sell, have not been tumbled by ourselves)
