Dicranurus ("Twin head-tail") is a genus of Lower to Middle Devonian Period of spinose (odontopleurid) trilobite. The spines of on many trilobites of this such nature is said to be for defences purposes, and to some suggestions to also help prevent them from sinking into the soft mud of their environment.

Dicranurus Trilobites are distinguished from other spiny Trilobites by a pair of large, curled, horn-like spines that emanate from behind the glabellum (on the head of the Trilobite) and it name is in reference to these distinctive horns/spines.
