Rose Quartz is a member of the Quartz family, a silicon dioxide crystal with a hexagonal (trigonal) crystal system.

It usually occurs in massive form but sometimes grows in clusters of small prismatic crystals. It’s name is derived from it’s colour, which ranges from very pale pink to deep reddish pink. It’s clarity can range from opaque to translucent to transparent, although most transparent pieces are rather foggy.

Rose Quartz is found in Brazil and Madagascar, as well as South Dakota in the USA.

At London Fossils and Crystals we use Rose Quartz for self love, to love and care for oneself is very important,  It enables your aura to become stronger and glow brighter.

A beautiful love token, especially during times of struggle, when people often need to see that they are loved and cherished.  This is not only a romantic stone but a stone of friendship, friends are special people to all of us.  Rose Quartz can help calm the mind, assisting one in releasing worries, fears, anxiety and past emotional trauma, helping one feel more open to receiving and sharing love, compassion and kindness.

Rose Quartz is a good stone for Heart Chakra protection, clearing and promoting self love, balancing the Yin & Yang of energy.

Also a Crystal for the stage, enabling understanding and appreciation of the arts of Music, written word and artistry. It has also been regarded as "the actors stone” by many stage and screen performers.

Here at London Fossils Crystals we sell a wide range of Tumble Stones

Tumble stones are so called because a number of stones of similar sizes are placed in a barrel which is rotated (tumbled) at a speed and after a time between 3 - 5 weeks the stones are polished from rough to smooth.
(The Tumble stones we sell, have not been tumbled by ourselves)
