Other localities are in Argentina, Austria, Congo, Germany, Greece, Namibia, Norway, South Africa, and Great Britain, as well as a number of places in the southwestern USA.

Shattuckite is said to help one with communication and to look at one’s self with words, action or thoughts are causing discord, instead of blaming others for one’s difficulties. Sometime found with Chrysocolla

Chrysocolla is an attractive blue-green colour and is minor ore of copper. The name comes from the Greek chrysos, "gold", and kolla, "blue", in allusion to the name of the mineral used to solder gold, and was first used by Theophrastus in 315 BC
