Wulfenite is found as octahedral, prismatic and square tabular crystals and masses. Colours include orange (yellow to brown), green, grey, white. May also be colourless.

Wulfenite was first described in 1845 for an occurrence in Bad Bleiberg, Carinthia, Austria. It was named for Franz Xavier von Wulfen 1728–1805), an Austrian mineralogist.


 

   

Wulfenite is said to bring a youthfulness in our lives. It’s emotionally and spiritually considered good for magic, spirit contact, shamanic pursuits, and seeing and dealing with your dark side. May also be good for accessing altered states of reality, your higher-self, twin souls/soul mates.
