Bloodstone is said to instil courage and assists one in taking the right action. It may help one fulfil one’s commitments in the face of obstacles.

As the name suggest Bloodstone is said to be useful for all types of blood ailments. It works at the source of the blood, within the bone marrow. It may assist in strengthening and fortifying the blood and overcoming blood weakness such as anaemia. It is said too stimulating to the liver and the endocrine system. It is said to also be useful in balancing female hormonal imbalances and helping to stabilise the hormones throughout menopause. 

Pyrite as an energy crystal, to keep us going, especially when we feel it is hard to keep going.  Also a lovely protection crystal for ones Aura, helping to keep negative energies away and keep us focussed on our chosen activities or business.

In renaissance times hundreds of tons of Pyrite were shipped from the new world in the mistaken belief that it was actually Gold. Ironically small quantities of actual gold are sometimes found in pyrite.
