Cotham Marble or Landscape Marble is a variety of stromatolitic limestone which dates from 208.5-201.3 million years old, Rhaetian Stage, during the Triassic Period, from the Penarth Group found in south Wales. Also found in southwestern England near Bristol.


Named after Cotham House in Cotham, Bristol.


On cut and polished faces the stone has the appearance of a landscape, complete with ploughed fields, trees, and hedges.
