London Fossils and Crystals move to a new home

It's been a long hard year

A busy year it has been for London Fossils & Crystals,  in January this year I viewed new retail premises for my lovely Fossils and Crystals.  The bank put the funding in place for the big move and on February 14th I was to be offered my new shop, there was a slight delay, which meant I eventually got the keys on April 4th.  

That's when the hard work began, my Hubby Kevin and our eldest Son Dan, began stripping out the old shop fittings. There was a lot of rubbish to clear, and the plaster just fell off the walls when they removed the old ply boards.  Kevin and Dan also discovered that the shop also needed a total electrical rewire. 

Unfortunately with access to the shop restricted, we had to be out of the shop by 7pm and were not allowed in on a Sunday, it was hard to get anything done, we were still running our business's , Kevin with his Picture Framing business and of cause I was running London Fossils and Crystals, both from Lower Marsh in Waterloo.

Finally on June 20th the full lease completed.

Though out this time, plans were being made on how the shop would look and feel.  I have been busy buying new stock and shop fittings, (re-using what was possible and eBay delivered time & time again with good deals).  I then gave my dedicated shop fitting Husband Kevin a deadline for finishing and the date my new shop would be opening.  

That time has now arrived and today Friday 26th July I officially move my growing business to its new home, to open on Saturday 3rd August 2013.

217 Waterloo Road, Waterloo, London, SE1 8XH.

Opening Hours

Tuesday - Friday 10am to 8pm.                                                        
Saturdays 10am to 4pm                                                                            
Closed Sundays and Mondays
